Practical tips for keeping the family cat out of your baby crib

Cats are curious comfort-seekers and will often find their way to your baby's crib or infant bed. Here are some important tips to help keep the family cat out of baby's bed and ease your concerns about baby's safety.

  1. Close the door
    Simply close the door, install a screen door or put a mosquito net or crib tent over it. Cats learn fast, and will eventually figure out that it is no use even trying.

  2. Lemon juice
    Cats hate the smell of lemon juice. Soak a cloth or a cotton ball in it and place it in the crib or bed.

  3. Noise
    Cats go to the bedroom for rest and lack of disturbance. Put aluminum foil, empty soda cans or ballons (they will pop!) in the bed
